  34. WinAPRS is written to the Win32 API, this means that it works under
  35. WindowsNT and Windows95.  To run under Windows 3.1, you will need the
  36. Win32S library (DLL).  It has been tested (not extensively) under Win3.1
  37. with Win32S.  If you do not have Win32S installed, WinAPRS will NOT run.

  40. Installation.
  41. Provided is a ZIP file, it should unzip properly, to unzip it,
  42.  
  43.             pkunzip -d WinAPRS.ZIP
  44.  
  45. If it does not create the directories properly, they should be set up as 
  46. follows: 
  47.     
  48.         WinAPRS (Directory)
  49.                 WinAPRS.exe
  50.                 SER16DLL.DLL
  51.                 SERDLL32.DLL
  52.                 SERTHUNK.DLL
  53.                 MAPS <directory>
  54.                           all of the Maps provided and any you want to add
  55.  
  56. It must be set up as above,  if you put too many maps in the map folder, 
  57. you will not be able to access them all from the menu.  You can access them
  58. from the Map List Window

  63. You may distribute WinAPRS to others provided that it is distributed
  64. as is here with this read me file.  You may include additional maps but 
  65. please leave the original zip file as is.
